Privacy policy

CmdBench is a static website. It has no accounts, forms or payments. Its pages set no cookies and run no analytics, and we do not send visitor data to AI models. If you pick a light or dark theme, your browser keeps that choice in its own storage; it is never sent to us.

Who is responsible

The controller of personal data on this site is:

J&L Serverid OÜ
Registry code 11478495
Email [email protected]

Who processes your data

  • Hetzner Online GmbH hosts CmdBench’s servers in Germany. The server logs record your IP address and the request.
  • Cloudflare (USA) provides DNS and content delivery. Every request to CmdBench passes through Cloudflare’s network. Cloudflare processes your IP address and the request to deliver and protect the site.
  • YouTube (Google, USA), only when you press play on a video. Until then the page shows a picture stored on this site and loads nothing from YouTube. When you press play, Google receives your IP address and browser details and may set cookies, under its own privacy policy.
  • Email. If you write to us, we and our email provider receive your address and your message.

Why

We use this data to deliver the site, keep it secure and answer your messages. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in doing so (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). The video player loads only when you ask for it.

Cloudflare and Google may process this data in the USA, outside the EU. Where a provider is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, the transfer rests on that certification; otherwise it rests on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

How long

  • Server and security logs: up to 30 days.
  • Email: up to 12 months after our last exchange.

Cloudflare and Google keep data under their own policies.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your personal data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its use, and receive it in a portable format. Write to the email address above.

You can also complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, www.aki.ee) or to the data protection authority where you live.
